Summary
Thanks to a generous grant from the Kip Kephart Foundation, the Virginia Historical Society is delighted to offer several paid positions in the Bobby Chandler Internship program. These internships will bring college students in Richmond and the surrounding area to the VHS to work as museum educators in the spring and summer of 2013.
Candidates for the Bobby Chandler Internship muse like history and enjoy working with elementary school students. To qualify for this program, you must be 18 years of age or older and be able to work a flexible schedule (at least two morning a week). Interns will be needed throughout the year but preference will be given to those who are available at peak tour times in March, April, and May. All candidates will be required to undergo a background check as part of the application process.
